The number of people that trust that internet gambling will soon be made legal in the US is progressing at a very quick rate. The strong and growing belief in the US is to legalize online gambling and hence more and more States are turning towards online gambling in an attempt to create extra tax dollars. In Goldman Sachs’ recent notice to his investors, they predict that the USA Government will soon legalize and control all online gambling industries.

Barney Frank is the person behind the two legislation amendments regarding online gambling industries in the US, which due to the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act is illegal. The first of the legislations is to reschedule the UIEGA rules that will be effective by the end of the year.

But the most interesting bill is for online casinos. This bill will see to legalize online casinos to operate and take bets from US residents who want to play on gambling slot machines, gambling blackjack tables and so on. But at the same time the bill will also be responsible to regulate online gambling companies. In the past Frank had tried his luck with the UIEGA bill and failed, but now he seems to have much more support.

Besides the number of talks going on about legalizing online gambling, it seems like online poker will be permitted in most states before the government comes to a decision about changing poker laws. As the head of the House Finance Committee, Barney Frank will be focusing all their power on the economy. As a result, the debate for online gambling has been postponed till September.

Despite the holdup Frank is still obstinate that the legislation will be soon be passed and pleads that online gamblers should try and be patient.
